After the initial rather deep concern of acquiring food poisoning from a group of rather culinary challenged personages i realized something. I would have realised it, but my computer spell check decided to be American.

I have put more time into rehearsing the upcoming Uni of Essex Classical Music Soc gig than ANY other gig ever. This would have been fine if:

a) the gig was paid; or
b) otherwise incentivised (e.g. custard creams or, at the very least, jammy dodgers).

However, it’s not, but it is proving good fun and gives a chance to do what i love (procrastination and escapism) and after all where else would i get the chance to do Ain’t No Sunshine as Drum’n’Bass with a jazz quartet? Riddle me that. Should also be entertaining to do Chick Corea’s Spain with 2 pianos.
